Privacy for Many: There are many places in the home to escape to including two screened porches, large rear deck, large flagstone patio beneath the rear deck with swing, floating pier at the waters edge, walkway around the lake, covered front porch with swing or our basement rec room. Play video games or watch a movie in the loft, walk down to the community lakeside beach and pier for fishing, swimming or simple relaxing. Hiking, biking, rafting, canoeing and tubing can also be done on the Potomac River or along the C&O Canal. Many organized excursions are based in historic Harper's Ferry, WV. or you could simply drive 25 minutes to Sleepy Creek Forest Reserve which touts a 200 acre lake, great bass fishing as well as being located right ON the Appalacian Trail! Horseback riding at Cacapon National Park could be included in a day trip to Berkeley Springs. Berkeley Springs has a public swimming pool (Seasonal) for the kids and/or hot mineral springs for the adults (Year round).

Made from Cypress solid logs from Florida, details include solid log walls, hand-crafted, open beam ceilings, solid pine flooring throughout the second floor, hickory doors, round log stairs and railings & custom handscraped teak floors through-out the first floor. Comfortable throw rugs throughout add to the cabin's atmosphere. The basement is full of room and things to do including electronic darts, electronic football throw game, electronic basketball throw, turbo air hockey, CD player/radio and 8 foot pool table. Walk out to the rear patio facing lake and relax in the swing.

Kid's Stuff Too!!: We have lots of kids toys and games to occupy them during your stay including a 32" LCD TV hooked up to a Wii video game system.

Ski: Drive 36 miles to White Tail Ski Resort to spend the day

Golf: Golf five minutes away at one of two courses at The Woods Resort and Spa

Horseback Riding: Cacapon State Park is about 35 minutes away and is a nice place to go horseback riding

Local Siteseeing: Tour the local areas and experience their rich and colorful histories.
